update

Hi again!

Most of you have heard already, but I was diagnosed with gallbladder disease on Monday. I'm scheduled to have a consultation on Thursday with a surgeon at Parkwest hospital, and hopefully they'll schedule the surgery for Friday. In the meantime, I've been out of work most of the week because of the pain. The good news is it's a pretty routine surgery and the recovery time is only a matter of days.

I ask that you all would keep me in your prayers this week and weekend. Again, Sr. Highs will not meet this Sunday, as planned, for Super Bowl weekend. Lauren Stuart will head up the "Souper Bowl" collection on Sunday morning, so please plan to stay after worship service for 10-15 minutes to help!
