This month, start gathering items for the Silent Auction!

May 21: Last day of (Knox Co.) schools

May 23: Last Youth Group of the year ☹

* I’d like to have a Graduation Party for all our Seniors. It can either be May 23rd, May 30th, or we’ll need to wait til June 18th at the earliest, as I will be knee deep in wedding stuff until then. I’d love to have a barbeque at someone’s house—if I have a house, I’ll volunteer mine! ☺ Anyone else want to volunteer as a back up? Call me!

*I’d also like to have a Senior High retreat this summer, hopefully at a cabin in the mountains, to give the kids some time to just be together before our Seniors leave. Possible dates are the weekend of June 25-26, July 2-3, or after Montreat, July 23-24. OR, we can do a couple weekdays, which opens up a lot of possibilities. Let me know what works for you!

Dear Sr. High Parents,
Silent Auction: May 14, 15, and 16:
This is our ONLY Montreat fundraiser and everyone is expected and needed there!

Friday, May 14: Set up, lock in afterwards. Please bring $5 for dinner/breakfast, and one baked good for the bake sale. You do NOT need to bring canned drinks this year.

Saturday, May 15: Car wash will be open until 2 pm, unless weather is bad. Silent Auction will be open, but all youth will be washing cars. I will need one or two parent volunteers to sit with the Auction/Bake Sale from 10 am til 2 pm

Sunday, May 16: The auction will close at 12:30 pm. I will need all youth and parent volunteers until about 2:30 to add up bids, call winners, bag merchandise, and clean up.
We will not have youth group this evening.

Thank you in advance for helping me with this event. It can become very stressful and overwhelming without your support. Last year’s auction went smoother than any other because of all the help from you, the parents! You are wonderful and I truly appreciate everything you do!
