update

Hi again!

Most of you have heard already, but I was diagnosed with gallbladder disease on Monday. I'm scheduled to have a consultation on Thursday with a surgeon at Parkwest hospital, and hopefully they'll schedule the surgery for Friday. In the meantime, I've been out of work most of the week because of the pain. The good news is it's a pretty routine surgery and the recovery time is only a matter of days.

I ask that you all would keep me in your prayers this week and weekend. Again, Sr. Highs will not meet this Sunday, as planned, for Super Bowl weekend. Lauren Stuart will head up the "Souper Bowl" collection on Sunday morning, so please plan to stay after worship service for 10-15 minutes to help!

Hey everyone!
As you've probably heard, I've been having some health issues this past week. I had severe abdominal pain on Tuesday night which landed me in the E.R. After blood tests, a ct scan, and a hi-da scan, all we know is: it's not my appendix. I'm waiting on more results, hopefully today or tomorrow, to tell me how my gallbladder is working (if at all! :) It's been a long, stressful week.
Long story short, I'm in pretty constant pain, so Lauren Stuart has graciously offered to lead the Sr. Highs this Sunday, the 25th. I will be out of town next Sunday, unless my health declines further, so there will be no Sr. Highs then.

Montreat update

I received our confirmation today! We will be attending Youth Conference Week 3 (July 12, 2009- July 18, 2009) and are staying in Howerton Dorm!

11th: Youth Programs at Erin! 5-7:30

17th: Sr. Highs @ 2nd Harvest food bank, 9 am- 12. Can a parent help drive to this event? If so, we can meet at church and take 2 cars. If not, everyone will need to meet at 2nd Harvest. Contact Becca if you can!

18th: Sr. Highs @ PACK meeting! Details to be announced

25: Youth Programs at Erin! 5-7:30

February 1st: Souper Bowl Sunday! Sr. Highs will collect money from the congregation following worship. There will be no Sr. High programs that night for 2 reasons: 1. Becca is out of town at a family reunion 2. The Super Bowl is on!!
If anyone wants to host a SuperBowl party, please do!! :)


Youth Summit is coming up, March 6-8! Permission slips will be passed out the 11th. You may also print them off the presbytery of East TN website or get an extra from the box outside my office. These are due February 15th with the fee.
